Deployments include: Operation Enduring Freedom – Afghanistan (2006-07 & 2008-09)
Assignments include:
a. Assistant Intelligence Officer for an Infantry Battalion in the most remote location in Afghanistan
b. Head Intelligence Officer for a Logistics Battalion south of Kabul, Afghanistan
c. United States Army Command Exercise Planner – Jordan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia
d. Company Commander – in charge of 200+ Soldiers supporting NSA-Hawaii responsible for Asia and south Pacific
2. US Army Reserves 2015- Present
a. Logistics Officer and Military Intelligence Officer
b. Currently Senior Intelligence Production Officer at United States Central Command (US CENTCOM)

His time at THA: My lifelong friendship is the first thing that comes to mind when I think about THA. Three of my THA classmates stood by my side at my wedding; to include Adam Kwasman as my best man, Jacob Rocker and Gilon Eilat were two of my groomsmen.
THA holds a special place in my heart because of the enriching education, Judaic values, and everlasting relationships. I am very appreciative of my parents for giving me the opportunity to attend a school that provided me with a Judaic education that influenced my personal growth. I was very humbled to receive hundreds of letter from THA students while I was deployed in Afghanistan in 2006-07 and 2008-09. In 2007 I flew an American flag at Jalalabad Airfield for 9 minutes and 11 seconds to honor those that died on September 11th and shipped the flag to THA to show my appreciation. Later that year I returned from my deployment and visited THA to thank the students personally as we raised the flag that morning. That US flag continues to be the flown over campus.
My most memorable teacher is Rabbi Billy. I was in 6th grade when Rabbi Billy Lewkowicz’s first started at THA in 1994. It is rewarding to think back about the Jewish and Life values Rabbi Billy taught us, he made Judaism fun and he continues be a mentor. THA resembles L’Dor V’Dor for the Greenberg family - all of my siblings attended THA, my nephews and niece currently attend THA – Eight members of the Greenberg family will accumulate 64 Years at THA.
My way of thinking:
I learned early in life and especially in Afghanistan, that life is full of obstacles and there are many ways to approach any situation. Obstacles are opportunities to learn, grow, and teach. I live in the moment, have no regrets, always tell the truth, expect nothing and appreciate everything. My sister Anna taught me a lot about life during her cancer journey – about living life with a positive attitude (also coined Annatude). Anna also taught me to be kind to all, live for today, and don’t give up. Eight years ago Anna passed away and her Neshema (soul) reminds me to be the best version of myself. Being a good person will reflect onto others and will improve the environment around me. I’ve seen a lot through war and my sister’s battle with cancer that has influence me to live life with a smile and laugh.
